Bday Celebration I - 190408

I am a pressie from the boys

basically u can called me a lazy bum ^^

I had a great pre-bday celebration last evening. Everything turned out well. We had fun n of cuz those who I've wanted to b present, were there. Thus, bringing a big big smile on my face. =D

One week before, had made a reservation at the Mind Cafe. Since none of us had been der before, I had decided to hold my celebration there. Had made reservation at 730pm. But I had arranged with them to meet at 630pm instead, cuz there were bound to be latecomers. =)

Before meeting up with the rest, me tgt with Ax, went dw to Orchard first. To get bday pressie for Joo Cheng, Edwin n Wei Wei. Their bdays were over like ages ago. (Joo Cheng's 21th (*haHaZ*..tt was last yr but he wasnt in Sing, tt was y we did not celebrate for him or got him a pressie.) Edwin's 22 this yr, we were unable to celebrate due to him, who was unable to b booked out of camp n Wei Wei, 19th this yr. Since we had already promise to get him something. We muz stick to our promise = )) Though we only managed to get pressie for them last min, still we did get something for them. *hAhaZ* ^^

Like I've mentioned earlier, I dislike buying pressie for guys. Its a tough tough thing to do. Always gona crack my brain to think hard. Getting clothes for them will always be the last resort. Tt's the easier thing to be done. *haHaZ*. And so, we decided to get tops for the three of them, from different shops.

We went to Esprit, Lacoste n Gap but we couldnt find anything. In the end, ended up buying 2 tops for Ed & 1 top for Wei Wei from Topman while we got 1 polo tee from Polo Ralph for Joo Cheng. (what we got Edwin, we muz gt the same for JC too. Cuz we have to play fair = )). Buying clothes for the guys are considered to be easy cuz they dun like to wear fanciful stuffs. So getting dark colors for them can nv go wrong = D

Done with our shopping, immediately took train dw to Raffles Place where Wei Wei was already waiting for us at d station, while the boys were at Boat Quay. Met Shuping Darling with bf on d way to take train. Smiled at each others but had no chance to talk to her. Muz rushed. = D

On the way, HL n Cf called in to conference. Discussed abt bbq. Initially what we had ordered, added up to only $40. Thus, we had to self collect the stuffs on the day itself. (only delivery will be provided if we hit $70). We wanted to pay extra for the delivery but they sticked strictly to their rules. So, we decided to order other stuffs which will added up to $70. (cuz of this, der goes my Dan Dan Mian = (..*ahem =X) *haHaZ* During the conversation, we kept laughing and laughing. *haHaZ*. Sent emails to each others, still muz cc here, cc there. =P. This is how interesting we r.

Reached Raffles, met up Wei Wei n den walked to Boat Quay where the others were already there. (Joo Cheng, Anthony, Kien Wei + Eileen n Edwin + Xiao Jun). I passed them the map to the cafe. (I had printed out the direction map, cuz I noe tt they'll able to read it =)) It was easy to find the way. Juz walked straight all the way n ta-dah, we could c the signboard.

Our reserved tables were at the third floor n so we proceed up der, the moment we stepped in. As we had abt 10+ ppl, we were given two tables. There was a small argument between us n the staff, but aft coming to an agreement, it was sunshine aft rain. = )

Sat dw, looked thru the menu n placed orders for dinner. Each of us had our own set meals. While waiting for the food to arrive, the guys disappeared for awhile, while Eileen, Xiao Jun, Ax n me decided to play a round of game.

IT WAS SUCH A FUN GAME!!!!

It made the four of us getting uptight, screaming n laughing thruout. Each of us was to pick out an animal n den hid it inside the hse. We were nt supposed to let the other parties to noe what were the animals we had. Therefore, we could only make out the sounds of the animals and we had to rem each others' sound. There were cards too n the ppl with the least cards would be the winner. A pity we did nt managed to finish up the game. Cuz halfway thru, the food had arrived n the guys asked us to hv our dinner first. =)

But its so fun playing with Eileen n Xiao Jun. They r juz so easy to mingle with. Eileen n I even shared a secret tgt. Shhh~~~ tt would only a lil' secret between the both of us. No 3rd party shld noe abt it. ^^

Aft our dinners were done, it was game time. All of us participated. We played a total of 4 diff games.

Anyway, baby sis - Liang Liang & Ru Shi arrived at abt 9plus. Was so happy to c them. They were part of the ppl tt I wished tt they could b present. Chiang Hon was the last to arrive. Though late, still he turned up. Had made me happy. (initially thought tt if Jimmy did nt come (he was supposed to celebrate his bday tgt with me. Yes, we shared the same bday =)), Chiang Hon would nt turn up. But I was wrong. (actuali was tt he did not noe tt Jim could nt make it the last min *haHaZ*)

It was so nice, chatting n catching up with baby sis n Ru Shi. Its been mths since we last seen each others. We r still crazy. (I guess this will b forever in us. Something which cnt b changed. *mUcKzzZ*)

We played the last game for awhile n den it was time for bday song n cake cutting. Sis n Ru Shi went dw to bring the cake up. It was my fave choco cake. Choco fudge. *love* They reali noe me well. *mUcKzzZ*

They sang the bday song aloud for me. Sis was helping to take pic all along. *thk u, sis =)* Followed by cake cutting n as usual, (his style) Edwin pushed one of the candles deep into the cake n I had to take it out by bitting it. His motive was to push my face into the cake when I was bitting the candle out. Luckily, sis helped me to get thru this time. Asked him nt to do tt to me. *bLeAh* Thks Sis!!!!

this was the moment I've been waiting for thru'out the night. Group foto taking. This definitely helped to complete the whole pic. Ones who I've wished to be der were in the pic. It puts a big big heart warming smile on me. *hUgZz*

Shortly after, baby sis, Ru Shi, Kien Wei + Eileen n Edwin + Xiao Jun had to leave. I thanked them one by one for turning up. And not forgetting, a hug to Ru Shi n a hug + a kiss on the cheek for Liang Liang. ^^

Y do I say so? We actuali spent abt $250 in the cafe. I didnt expect the bill would b tt x. We were like spending 4hrs (730-11.30pm) only. The worst thing. I thought cuz we already had spend $200 plus, we would b able to do membership but no, we were nt supposed to. Had to pay for another $15 for a 3yrs membership. What!!!! Its so unfair right. Plus, even if we do nt have to pay $15 for the membership, based on what we had spent, we can only apply for membeship on WEDNESDAY only! So so nt worth it. I'm reali sori to the guys. For spending so much. Next yr, we shall hv the celebration at coffeeshop n I'm serious abt it. =)

Aft tt, we roamed abt for awhile. The guys (except Chiang Hon) decided to go n played lans while me n Ax decided to head home.

they took turns to help me carry the bear. Chiang Hon said tt it looked like I could fall anytime if I was to carry the bear. *haHaz*

We walked all the way to The Central where we took our buses there. We were crossing the road n Chiang Hon was still standing there, talking on the fone. I shouted at him n den Anthony said tt ltr the accident was nt caused by vehicles but would be caused by the loudness of my voice. *haHaz* =P

Reaching the bus-stop, Ax's bus 80 arrived shortly n the rest of us continued to chit-chat while waiting for our bus to arrive. Suddenly, the three of them (Joo Cheng, Wei Wei & Anthony) juz board d bus when it arrived, leaving me n Chiang Hon standing there, blur-ing for a while (-_-).

I had the urgent to go to the ladies (I had nt been to it the whole night) n I asked Chiang Hon to go with me. We went into The Central's one but it was closed. All I could think of was the one near MOS n I told Chiang Hon tt. He said tt we could walk der. = )

On the way, we chatted a lots. Its been so long since we had a chat like tt n I'm happy tt we could actuali have this opportunity. =D Its reali nice to hv a chat like tt once in awhile. Lest we can noe how's our life has been.

Anyway, I extorted $1.30 from him. *haHaz*. To get drink from vending machine. =P Aft getting my drink, we took N6 home.

In the bus, he shared with me the scary and interesting ghost story which he had experienced personally. It was so scary n he was brave enuff to get thru it. If it was me, I would hv faint to death on the spot. *hahAz*

Reached my stop, bid him gdbye n alighted.

Noe how sweet these ppl are? Smsed them to inform abt the celebration n w/o second words, all of them agreed to turn up. So pls give me reason on y I should nt love them. =)

Darling cum Sista cum Lao Po - Aixiang : Xin Ku Ni le. Noe tt u had been up since early in the morning, noe tt u're tired n yet did nt hear u complaining at all. U could still stay up till late in the night. I reali hug u lots. *mUckZz*. Thks for being the one whom I've always hv by my side regardless of anything. ^^

Baby Sis - Liang Liang : Thks for turning up, my dear sis. Though I've told u tt if u were busy wit ur stuff, its ok tt u did nt hv to turn up. Cuz I noe tt u reali hv the heart to celebrate for me. U turn up n yes, u definitely make me smiling non-stop n feel the sweetness deep down. Love u. *mUcKzZ*

Ru Shi : Thks for showing up too. Its so nice to hv u ard. So much fun n laughters tt I've enjoyed being ard with u. We shall meet up more often n get crazy tgt. *mUckzZ*

Eileen & Xiao Jun : Two cutties who are so fun to be ard with. So friendly n easy to get along. Thks for being there too. Definitely had enjoyed both of ur presence. ^^ We shall hang out more often too. Best will be if there is a gathering everytime with the guys, hope to c both of u der. We can play tgt n aso to hv the chance to noe more abt the both of u. =) *hUgZz*

Lastly

nt forgotting abt the boys. The SWEETEST ones. Joo Cheng had asked me tt day, what would I like to hv as pressie. I said a big big bear n all of u reali gv me a big big bear. Reali thks alot n appreciate tt. Very very NICE of u guys. I reali love the bear alot. Something which I'll keep it with me for life. = ) If I'm asked to hv one wish, it'll b to hv u guys (bao ge ge included) as best friends for life. I noe tt its nt a greedy thing to ask for. ('________________________________')
